Day 3 on the Madison

saturday, another 40+ degree day on the river. this time i took joel with me, it was his first day fly fishing for trout. after 10 casts on the upper river above ennis he was hooked into a 16 inch brown, not bad for your first madison trout. the ice was still really high on the banks. after an hour we relocated to the lower river. joel got into another brown right away, this one at 15. my pride started hurting so i figured i had better get with the program. i had a short spree, about 3 rainbows in five minutes. they were all small however. joel came through the same hole behind me and latched into another rainbow. we finished out the day with 2 browns and 5 rainbows.
