the report finally came in. i was offered a research position through montana state university to fund grad school. the branch of msu i will be working for researches traffic safety in rural areas. we will be trying to find out better ways to improve safety through road and car design. its a two year commitment which will see me through graduation. glad i don't have to foot that bill! we start back the day after labor day this fall. that keeps me near the madison for the forseeable future :)

Oops-messed up the last comment...just wanted to tell you congrats-bet it feels good to have everything arranged.
Also, like the new blog title-but am a little sad to see "various and assorted ruminations for the paradise that is Montana" gone. :-)
