great day on the madison!

had an epic day on the upper madison river on saturday. left my house at 9 and was fishing by 11 in the morning. it was nice and sunny out and the fish were hungry...i ended up catching 7 fish in the first hour and a half. i ended up relocating after lunch. my second spot didn't yield a single fish. i was about to leave when i noticed there were trout happily rising in a side channel. i tied on a tiny midge dry like the one in the picture with a very small leader. five minutes later i set the hook and the fish turned and snapped my leader. all told i had hooked 15 on the day with 13 fish landed. i will take that any day...there are no pictures because my camera battery died. you will have to trust me.
