We got the internet hooked up.
We have spent 6 evenings at the laundromat (which might not seem like that big of a deal, but I like to whine about it.)
Emily was in the newspaper. For allegedly bursting into tears when the MSU QB came to my window at the bank after winning the 'Cat-Griz game. (If any of you Bozeman Daily Chronicle reporters are reading this...I did not cry. Thanks.)
Made baby shower invitations.
Welcomed a ton of friends' babies into the world. Like, seriously, seven babies.
Here's what we haven't done:
Completed the thank-you notes we found in the move. Sorry, if you're reading this and you haven't gotten yours. It may be in the mail during your/my lifetime.
Gone fishing (Shaun).
Gotten another cat.
Bought a washer and dryer (next on the list).
Procreated (not next on our list.)
For those of you (Genevieve) who have been waiting with baited breath, this is what we have been up to. Life has been busy, but great! But now that we're not having company in the foreseeable future, we'll need something to fill the quiet. More company? Or...another cat? Like this guy...
Our household (Shaun, me, and our cat, Phanuter) are 2 to 1 on this issue. Shaun and Phanuter don't think we need another cat. This poor fellow, though, just needs a home for the holidays. If a couple people would just give me a backing, that'd be awesome, and maybe Shaun and Phanuter would change their minds.

Oh, like THAT'S a hard decision...Emily, you have Shaun, so Phanuter needs a friend/companion, too! Get the second cat!! :)
THANKS for the update!!! SO great to hear what's going on. finally. :) I laughed, too, when you had to sneak procreating in on that "haven't done" list. Must be some talk goin' on, eh? hahaha!!! :)

As for the talk, there's not too much, but it's good to remove any sneaking suspicions folks might be getting. Or any 'grandparental' urges that our parents might be having. Hehehe! We promise to update more. And not just about Shaun's fishing.

Mo gave me your blog address and I had such fun seeing what ya'll are up to. Glad you survived the stress when you were moving, then you weren't. Glad you're feeling settled in your spot - it sounds grand!
The squeaky wheel really does get the oil... be persistent about the cat. I have a dog in the yard because my desire for one finally overran Morgan's desire to NOT have one. :) Maybe it was because I said he could choose: Another baby or a dog. hee hee. :)
