saturday it was a toss up between the football game and the river. the river won out. it was supposed to be a gorgeous fall day, around 80 degrees. i was in the water by 10:30...within an hour i was hooked up into something that pulled back. over the next five hours i fished three spots. the second one was a nice run about 100 yards long. i had fished it sucessfully in the past so i anticipated some good action. i stayed there for two hours hooking about ten fish. the biggest ones got off of course! one that i hooked i never saw, he could have been pushing 20". i did land one very nice 17" cuttbow hybrid. after heading to the third location i cleaned up on little guys...for the day i had around 20 fish in hand, my best day on the river for quantity! its supposed to be in the 80s all week. its awfully hard to concentrate...
