after visiting emily for a week in cody over xmas, i headed out to granite falls, WA to work for the Waldos for a few weeks. the roads out were terrible, it took me 14.5 hours to get over there. all the passes were snowy and icy. it was rather rainy in seattle (suprise!) and most of the local rivers were flooding. i managed to ski new years day up at baker mtn. emily flew in last wednesday for her week vacation. diane took her shopping (thanks!) while i worked thursday. friday we had a long day. did a boeing tour, toured pike's place market, and took a ferry over to bainbridge island for dinner.
saturday we went to the outlet malls and went to dinner at the kitchens. shane and deanna cooked us dinner. dan and jeannie were there as well and we had a boisterous game of settlers which shane won. sunday we had meetings and then tomo, one of cole's employees from japan, cooked us an ethnic dinner. yesterday we drove all day to get home and had dinner with logan and elissa in missoula. the trip was great, now i head back to school tomorrow. don't feel too sorry for me i only have one class a day. its been in the 40's lately, do i hear the river calling?

It was fun to hang out with you again and awesome to meet Emily! She is super sweet-how'd she end up with a guy like you? (Only kidding-you two make a great couple!)
