well a few things of note have occurred in the past week. rob, joel and i did some gopher hunting last weekend. it was in the upper 50s and a few gophers were out, but not too many. we managed to get about 40-50 between the three of us. had some fun with the .223...
this week ended my first year in grad school. i had a paper due monday and a test on wednesday, now i just have to wait and see how the grades shake out. yesterday i took the day off to let my limited brain capacity recuperate. joel and i stopped by the upper madison for two hours. we each had one 16-17 inch rainbow. then we drove down to wade lake for some float tubing. the weather was terrible, we had about five different sleet/rain/snow storms come through. the fishing was good for two hours, we each had lots of strikes and three 16" fiesty rainbows to the net.
this weekend emily and i are driving down to sheridan to visit her family. it is her sis's bday. emily's job has been going well, she has been raking in the tip money! that's all for now...
