my best smallmouth to date

after working friday morning emily and i drove down to sheridan to see her folks. her sis anna turned 17. we went to a potluck for some of the sheridan kids that were graduating. saturday morning emily's dad and i headed out to the local reservoir to do some fishing. we put a couple smallmouth in the boat before the fish and game decided to come by for a visit. i didn't have my licence on me so i got a written warning. apparently the life preservers we had on board were not up to snuff so craig got hit with a 45 dollar fine as well. later in the day i caught my first largemouth bass, it was a good one at 5.5 pounds? i also got my best smallmouth at 2ish pounds. it's nice to fish with craig, he has it pretty much figured out! it was a good day by my standards and a moderate one by craig's. we got around 20 fish in the boat in five hours...
